Update for self-hosted customers using Jama Connect 8.56.1 on MS SQL server

We’ve identified an issue that may impact customers using Jama Connect 8.56.1 with a Microsoft SQL Server database. If you need to backup and restore data, note the following:
·         Please ONLY USE the SQL Server proprietary backup and restore process
·         Do not use the .jama file or backup XML file methods of backing up and restoring data at this time
·         An upcoming Jama Connect 8.56.2 patch release will resolve this issue and allow the .jama file and backup XML file methods to be utilized again

If you have backed up and restored your data using the .jama file or backup XML file methods onto the Jama Connect 8.56.1 version, please open a ticket with Jama Software support for further guidance.
