Solution to only allow Approved Test Cases be added to a test plan

Hi, 

We have a need to restrict the test cases that are able to be added to a test plan to only those that are Approved/ Accepted. I have seen older posts asking for the same thing. Is there any update on being able to achieve this? Or a workaround that is able to be applied?

    We would also appreciate this feature, we are currently checking this manually and of course that always has the risk of something slipping through which is against our documented processes

    I'd suggest using an Advanced Filter to populate your Test Plan with Test Cases.

    We do, but we'd like to enforce it. It's a matter of stopping people doing things they CAN in JAMA but shouldn't (according to our process)

    The problem with this is that once the test case is in the plan and it transitions to draft, the version in the plan will automatically update

    Even if Jama don't want to add this feature, process enforcement would be easier if the Test Runs captured the Status/workflow field at the point they are generated, that way we could see whether any given test run was  generated from an approved test case at a glance (or in a  filter)
