Default setting of notifications for new users as OFF

Hi,
Suggest that the default setting of notifications shall be set OFF.
Now the majority of mistaken sent notifications to user groups, containing e.g. the whole Jama user base, is done by new users who are not yet familiar with all the features of Jama. We guide them to remove that notify tick in training in case they participate. These notifications to all users confuse specially when the message receiver do not have access to that specific jama project and are not able to view the item behind the link.

I agree, it would make sense for the default to be off. We have had a few cases where all the users in a group were notified and they had no idea why because they are not associated with that particular project.Robena Sukhu
