Type-ahead search to single and multi-select fields in item creation

The latest release contained type-ahead search to single and multi-select fields in Single Item editing view but it is not available when you are about to create the item.  This functionality shall be there too. I find this now as half way done. 
Please add type-ahead search to single and multi-select fields in item creation.
