Fields in "Project" details

Hi!
I see that the dbo.project table has some fields that are also accessible in the Velocity API (Project object).
Some of them are connected to entries on the "Details" tab on the "Project admin" screen, whereas others are not.
Example: text1 corresponds to "Objective:" in the Project Admin GUI, but string1 is not used anywhere.
Is there any way to populate these apparently unused fields (e.g. flag1..2, string1..4) as a Project Admin?
