Better search options in the Relate Panel

At this time the Relate Panel is not customizable, so through the Explorer tab you can only identify items by their names. The Search tab provides a bit more options, allowing you to identify items by Type, ID and Name. However, what I need is to be able to search for specific values of any field in the item type I want to relate to. This would help a lot to make relationships.

    Hi Fridtjof,
    Would having the ability to apply a filter to the Relate Panel provide the functionality you need?
    I thought about this a few years back but forgot about the idea until now.

    Hi George, yes I think so. If the filter allows to look for certain values of a field within an item type, that would work.

    Options
    Adding the ability to use a filter in the Relate Item(s) control would improve the effort of locating the desired item.  This includes the ability to use a "Public" filter – and cross-project filters as well.
