Archiving Test Cycles

We are currently creating a test cycle per sprint for a test plan.  As time goes on the cycle list becomes long and we have had issues with testers choosing the wrong cycle.  Ideally we would be able to archive test cycles.  When archived these cycles wouldn't show up in the cycle dropdown but would be able to be retrieved via a different method when necessary.  We would also like an indicator on the test cycles to show that a test cycle is active. Similar to the picture below.

    Options
    An addition to this feature request is the ability to set a predefined test cycle periodicity.  Right now we either need to manually create a new cycle or use a script.
