Adding Users to User Groups

In large organizations, adding users to Jama Software should be fully automated.  To do this the API must support adding users to user groups so that new users can have some kind of permissions.  Without that, users can be added automatically, but must be assigned to groups manually.

    Yes! Please! Managing my users is turning into a nightmare, if I could script group assignments (or import from a spreadsheet) my life would be much easier.

    As for groups in REST - we definitely see the value and would like to include this work around the same time frame for completing the SOAP parity effort prior to the on-premises GA of REST which is targeted at year's end.

    Is there any easy way to create and "all hands" group?  I'm basically trying to create a group with every user...and the only way I can add is by searching for names via an inputted string...which is painful when the number of users is large...  Thanks!

    Realized this comment is still active and wanted to close it off as http://dev.jamasoftware.com/rest#endpoint_usergroups was introduced several months ago allowing for users to be added to groups.
