Import Test Case from Excel

    I imported a test case from an excel file, which ended successfully.
    The only problem I lost all the new lines characters in the Test Steps

    I have already enabled the rich text of the Test steps of the Test Case Item

    Can I please have a screenshot of how the test steps look once imported to Jama and as they look in the Excel file before being imported. Thank you.

    The first sheet contains line break and here is the resulted import



    ​​while the second sheet, instead of using line break, i added html tag <br>, and here is the resulting import:

    In the second solution, it is working. so is the only way to solve this problem to substitute all the line breaks in the excel with the <br> ?

    Hi Swasan,
    Yes, using the <br> tag is probably the best way…if you roundtrip test cases, the excel output includes HTML. So programmatically this is how it works anyway. Let me know if you have any more questions.
