review software code using JAMA

  • 1.  review software code using JAMA

I like the review process and features offered by JAMA and would like to use it to review software code.  In our case, code file are checked in and stored in Subversion.  Is there a successful user case that used JAMA for similar application?  Or the JAMA consulting team can offer suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Herman

    Herman:

Hmm, Apache Subversion, would you want to use links to the code repository or would you make code snippets into Jama items to send to the Review Center. You can upload the code as an attachment to the project and then link the attachment within the description. Or if you are talking about snippets you could put the code in the description field of the item. This way you could just send it to Review Center and the Reviewer could Review and comment directly on the code. All the Reviewers could edit, finalize the code and then the moderator could manually correct and commit the code within the repo.

As of right now, I am not seeing an integration with Subversion on our current integration list. So, this would have to be a more manual process.

    Best,
