Each paragraph is formatted as a heading when I export from Jama to Word using a Mail Merge template

    Hi,

I am currently attempting to work through a bug I am experiencing when I export from Jama into Word using a basic Mail Merge template. When I use the code below, I find that each paragraph and space in the document (even if not a heading) is formatted as a heading, meaning that it appears in my Navigation Pane. Since we rely heavily on the Navigation Pane to navigate through documents, this ends up being quite messy.

    • «TemplateStart:DEFAULTTEMPLATE»
    • «TemplateStart:FLD»
    • «TableStart:HEADING»«name»«TableEnd:HEADING»
    • «description»
    • «TemplateEnd:FLD»
    • «TemplateStart:TXT»
    • «TableStart:HEADING»«name»«TableEnd:HEADING»
    • «description»
    • «TemplateEnd:TXT»

Is there any way to format either the source code within Jama or to change the Mail Merge code to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks!

    Hello Anja,
Does this mail merge code work better for what you are trying to do?

    «TemplateStart:DEFAULTTEMPLATE»

    «TemplateStart:FLD»

    «documentKey»

    Name: «name»

    «description»

    «TemplateEnd:FLD»

    «TemplateStart:TXT»

    «documentKey»

    Name: «name»

    «description»

    «TemplateEnd:TXT»

    «TemplateEnd:DEFAULTTEMPLATE»
