    Hi Team,

I want to know TestCycleSummary for a particular or array of testCycleIDs. I need information like the number of test cases PASSED, FAILED, NOT_RUN and BLOCKED.

    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi:

You can get this information through with one of our Community Reports, there are several that show the Test Management status such as:Test Results Report (Test Cycle) orTest Results Report (Test Case). Or you can utilize our REST API, here is a link to the Test Cycles endpoint.

    Hi Chole,

Thanks for your help, but I need something like this TestCycleSummaryfor an array of testCycleIds through Endpoint.

Now, I can get this information through "/abstractitems" Endpoint but I have to loop through all the pages and calculate manually
How many Test runs PASSED, FAILED, BLOCKED and NOT_RUN, which i can do. But its taking lot of time.
    Please help me with this.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

create a filter for each status, with the rest api you can query these filters, you need a single call per filter/status, in the response you have to total number of items that the filter will provide.

Great workaround! I will have to alert our Product team to add this to the API Cookbook!

    Hi Harald,

Thank you very much for your help. Can you please give some example of REST API query those filters, And how can I do that for particular testPlanID and TestCycleID.

Right now, I will select Project through the dropdown and select some TestPlansID with respect to that project, So now I have to fetch current Sprint running and getTestCycleSummary. I am not getting how to do it through filter Query EndPoint [it should work for all TestPlansID irrespective of projects]

    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,

    is pretty simple:
    <jamaUrl>/rest/latest/filters/<filterID>/results

<> that part you have to provide.

The filter ID you can find with:
<jamaUrl>/rest/latest/filters then search for the filter you need.

The filter part should be pretty easy, filter for testruns, then you can restrict on testplans or testcycles ...

    regards
    Harald

    Harald and Ravi

We are recommending using "v1" instead of "latest", like so:

    <jamaUrl>/rest/v1/filters/<filterID>/results

It skips the redirect, "latest" auto-redirects to "v1", so this just takes out an unnecessary step.
