Filter

    Hi,

I have created a filter based on the name of the test case and it seems to be not filtering rightly.

I have tried the same filter by location and it still seems to be pulling items from the different component sets.
    It seems like a bug.

Please let me know what additional information can I provide.

    Rahul

    Hi Rahul:

Could you please send me a screenshot of your Advanced Filter parameters/config? Similar to the picture below. Also, which version of Jama Connect are you seeing this in?

    Thanks Rahul,

    Hi Rahul!

Thanks for sharing this, its very helpful. To help troubleshoot, I am making an assumption that you have a naming convention where the System Verifications you are targeting start with: SA_. But then I'm thinking that there is more connected with this name like: SA_test1, SA_test279505050... Something like this?

If so, and there is no space between the 'SA_' and the rest of the name then you need to add a wild card * to the end of the SA_*. This tells the filter to look for any System Verification within the Next Generation Platform who's name starts with SA_andthenhassomethingelsehere. If you have a space between the SA_ and the rest like so: SA_   restofname, then your original filter config should work. Please see the example below:

Rahul, are these assumptions correct? Please let me know if this solves your problem.

    Best,
