  • 1.  items aren't always locked by workflow when they should

I see a strange behavior where in projects items can still be edited allthough they should be locked by the system due to the workflow.
    - some projects do not show this bahavior, others show this only for some (but still the same) item types
    - all item types use the same workfllow (i.e. should be locked when status becomes 'accepted')
    - I have organizational rights in all projects.

    Where does this come from?

PS: what I need is that widgets (tags etc.) in an item type can still be edited even the item is locked by the system. Can this be made configurable?

    Hi Fred,
please check out your workflow. The end state for a specific transition is defines as system locked, not the state itself. Maybe you have more than one transition to a specific end state and not all of them have the system locked set.

In addition to that note that
    • make current in version widget
    • replace with baseline
can violate the system locked of the workflow -> see also here apply the system locking as specified in the workflow in case performing "make current" Following

    Best,
    Alessandro
