Baselining Test Plan and Test Cycle/Test Runs

    Hi,
For our project needs we need to baseline all test related items. This is quite simple for test specification (test cases), but there doesn't seem to exist an elegant way to do this for Test plan and Test Cycles/Test Runs.
Our current way of doing it (workaround) is to send Test plan/Test Cycles/Test Runs for review and trigger the baseline with the review. However, this approach has multiple problems:
    1. Minor: uneeded reviews are created
    2. Moderate: Many small baselines are created instead of few larger, more logical that contain whole set of information within one baseline
    3. Major: Can not have Test cases and Test plan in same baseline

Is there a better way to baseline this?

    Hi Vinko,
I normally use advanced filters for this.
Just select the desired items and then generate a baseline using the filter as source.
    Hope it helps ...

    Hi Vinko,

Thanks for reaching out! I wanted to write and confirm that Alessandro's suggestion of manually creating a baseline off of an Advanced Filter is a great suggestion.
