Q1: Can the columns seen in the output of a filter be pre-defined and pre-organized? Under Settings, you can select/deselect the fields to be displayed. But the fields displayed are in the same order as the fields seen under Settings. Instead of moving the columns every time, is there a way to 'pre-define' the sorting of the fields?

Q2: Need to create a filter where the user can select a value associated with a field. Currently, I have 5 filters with different values selected from a pick list Field. Instead of having those 5 filters, can one filter be executed based on a users' selected value chosen at "runtime"?

Hi John!

A1: You can configure what fields are visible for individual item types and for the "multiple item type" results, but you cannot tailor this to individual filter results. Jonathan asked a question along the same lines, so I recommend checking out the thread about configurability of List View for a bit more detail.
A2: No, there is not a way to have conditionally run a filter based on a choice beforehand.
