    Hello,

    Some of my colleagues encounter a disagreeable behavior when navigating between JAMA tabs.

    In the items List view, we can setup filters:


    And when we click on an Item a new JAMA tab opens:


    But if we go back to the previous tabs where our filters are defined, the tab will be refreshed and our filters reset:



    What can we do to avoid this behavior ?

    I can see how this would interrupt your workflow. This is a known bug where the filter from search results, selected facets do not persist in a filtered view if the user views another Jama tab. The workaround at this time is: to build an advanced filter.

    This bug has been logged in our internal system with this Community Post associated with it. For your reference the bug ID is: SOS-DEF-1644. You can check future release notes for this ID to see if this bug has been fixed. I can tell you that this particular bug has been chosen to target in a sprint!

    Hi Chloe,

    I understand this is an old post, but as a new user to Jama, I recently discovered that I am also plagued by this problem. As your above post indicated this is a bug targeted for a sprint in 2018, I am wondering if there has been any progress? I cannot find this bug identified in any release notes.

    Which version of Jama do you use? I cannot reproduce this issue anymore neither in 8.79.1 (self-hosted), nor in 8.82.0 (cloud). I remember seeing this in 8.36.2 (self-hosted).

    Hi Patrick. We are using 8.73.4 self-hosted. Since you are not seeing the behavior on 8.79.1 I will ask our administrator about updating. Do you know what version this was fixed before we go through the update process?

    Are you sure about your version? According the release schedule and the release notes, there is no self-hosted version 8.73.4, only a 8.74.3.
    8.79.1 is the next self-hosted version, following 8.74.3. I cannot see a respective note in the release notes but the problem seems to be fixed, at least on our end. Maybe someone from Jama can officially confirm it before you do the update to 8.79.1 or even 8.79.3.

    You are correct, I dyslexic-ed the version. I am on 8.74.3. Sounds like we have an update scheduled for this Friday. I'll post back if that resolves the issue (hopefully)!
