We can review test cases but is there a way to review test plans?

We route test plans for Customer Acceptance review via Review Center. We created a filter that pulls in the test plan (and test cycle) and then we route the filter results via Review Center.  Not sure if that is what you were looking for but sounds like it.  Have you tried creating a filter?

Thanks Angela! The filters seem to work well. :)

It seems like this is no longer possible? When I send the filter (containing some test plans)  for review, the review will not contain any items to review.

Does anyone know other ways to send a Test Plan for review?

    I'm using Jama Hosted version 2015/12/10 11:10

Kasper, you're right about this being no longer possible. The latest hosted release has a bug, "SOS-BUG-1010:  Filters that are sent to review that contain only Test Runs or Test Plans or a combo of the two return an empty review."

The way to work around this would be to add another item type in that filter—use some sort of decoy item, perhaps a Text describing the plan?

We have a same need. It would be good if there is a possibility to send a Test Plan for review via a Test Plan Context menu. To create filter it's possible but if you have more Test Plans and you have to create a new filter for each Test Plan is annoying.

Kasper, I wanted to let you know that SOS-BUG-1010 has been fixed in our hosted environment.

Figured out how to do this with filters, but I think the process in unnecessarily complicated. Sending a test plan for review should be one of the actions in the test plan itself.

What about adding "Test Plan" as a filter-able item?

Match (Test Cases) where (Test Plan) is equal to (The test plan I want to review)

It can't POSSIBLY be that big of a deal to add this item to the filter drop-down?
