Our agency currently utilizes SAML to SSO to other applications. We are very familiar and comfortable with it. We understand that SAML is enabled for Jama cloud/hosted customers but not on-premise. This forces us to utilize Crowd if we want to enable SSO. Maybe for a future release Jama can enable SAML on-premise too. This will be allow us to stay with our known technology and follow the same established standards. Thank you for the consideration

Is SAML enable for Jama on-premise customers now? We don't want to use Crowd to enable SSO. I know it is working now for hosted customers. Is this enable and available in one of the newer Jama releases?
Thanks, VM0 -
Victoria:
For our on-premises environments, we offer three different options for authentication: LDAP, Active Directory and Atlassian Crowd. Each is a single sign-on system and functions in roughly the same way. This article explains: Authentication Options For On-Premises And Hosted Users (LDAP, AD, Crowd, SSO, SAML).
