Skipped test case steps are passes automatically by jama

When executing Test cases Jama will automatically put a step on passed if it is skipped and a later step is marked as passed.
Is it possible to add status skipped besides Pass and Fail.

    In example below:
If we put step9 on passed or fail, then step 7 will be put automatically on pass.
If we create a status "skipped", maybe we can avoid this unwanted status change.

Is possible to change the status into NOT RUN, PASSED, FAILED and add SKIPPED.

Or a N/A option. Generic test scripts sometimes have N/A steps because of a customer's configuration, so the ability to mark them as such would be extremely helpful.

Cynthia - That's our situation too. An "N/A" option would facilitate test reuse where most of the steps are the same but a few are different. Jama's Reuse/Sync strategy doesn't work for that (as far as I can tell).

This is also something what our testing personnel is looking for. They used QC previously and they had this kind of N/A possibility for test steps there.
