This is what the baseline tab shows for us on any of our projects:

I think the baseline management is awful. Only an admin can move baselines around and organize them properly.
Please add the ability to organize baselining at creation time, so you don't end up with this giant pile of baselines that only an admin can clean up.

Alternatively, fix the issue where selecting a component for baselining will include the root component in the baseline. The root component should not appear in the baseline, because it doesn't appear in the list view when selecting a component. The fact that you get a different list when baselining (extra root component) means that reports extracted from baseline view differ from when done via list view.

(This is why you see a mix of baselines on Components vs Individual items in the screenshot; we are manually deselecting the root component in baseline, but with no way to enforce it, some users forget to)

This sounds like a good fit for our Ideation module -- you can view and vote on submitted idea cards about Baselines HERE and, if there aren't any that encompass your feedback already, submit an idea card of your own by clicking on the orange Add button on the right-hand side HERE.
