How to create Table of Contents and Figures in report using velocity?

I need to create a table of contents and figures as shown in the below figure using velocity.image

I have created the report using velocity. But i don't know, how to create the above, automatically using velocity. Can anyone help me on this.

    I haven't tried to do anything similar with a list of figures/tables, but there's an example of creating a table of contents in a Word Document using Velocity in the help guide:

    Hi Jama -
    Is there an updated location for "http://help.jamasoftware.com/create_a_velocity_word_documen.htm"? That link is broken (points to the old user guide?). I can't get the table of contents to print and would like to see some examples.

    If you look at some of the old User Guide in our library like this one: 8.20 Jama User Guide, you will find the "Create A Velocity Word Document" section on page 387.

    Are these resources you linked somewhere available? I'd like to generate a TOC in a Word doc using Velocity.
