Hello Shawnna, Turns out that I had a case sensitivity issue in my query (MySQL). The funny part is that it worked in BIRT and MySQL workbench. The column it was pointing above does not have this issue but the case sensitivity issue was latter in the query on the same field but in different sub query. ...

Hey Guys, Found a temporary solution to this. I increased the size in .cnf file and works. But I am still wondering why BIRT can take the 'SET @@session.group_concat_max_len = @@global.max_allowed_packet; command. I don't want to burden the server.

Thank you for quick response Shawnna. I had MS SQL which I converted in MySQL and had to use group_concat. Like i mentioned in the post that group concat has limitation on length. So had to use session length which is creating issues. this is a MySQL query working fine in MySQL editor Thanks Pradeep

Shawnna, I have been using BIRT as DIRECT SQL Report generator. What I mean is that initially I run reports in BIRT and then integrate them in JAMA. In that sense I am using BIRT as direct reporting tool. Is there a way to get attachments associated with item exported using BIRT? /Thanks

Thank you Harald, Would you please let me know what tools and technology you guys used to build reports. JAMA says velocity report engine respects permissions but BIRT does not. I have implemented few BIRT reports which we have deployed at project level to make sure people with permissions won't get ...

Or a search feature would be nice in that window/dialog.
