Create roundtrip template

I would like to create an excel roundtrip template. I have a workaround, but I don't like it that much. It uses columns that are available for download and normally are added in the hidden columns:
  • Indent and Children don't seem to be necessary
  • API ID (rename to API-ID)
  • Current version (rename to Version #)
  • Header
Is there a different / better way? What kind of problems may occur due to not using the columns 'indent' and 'children'?

        What are the reasons why you wouldn't just use the standard Excel for Roundtrip report?   In particular, why would you care what information is stored in the hidden columns?

            I created an export with some additional explanation and functionalities:
            • For our SRA there are some columns which have dropdown list. In our excel-way-of-working these lists are dependent (if you select something in column A, a corresponding list will show up in column B.)
            • One of the calculation fields we have in excel is currently not possible in Jama
            In a normal export, additional columns to enable roundtrip are not added. And a roundtrip report is not possible with the additional functionalities which I would like to use.
