Export whole project - revisited
This old JAMA blog Can I export a Whole Project? advises just doing Excel exports of items type by type you want to import them somewhere else, but that seems to me to miss a whole lot of thing like relationships and test steps for starters. Does JAMA have a better solution for this? Has any customer actually done something here that works well?

Hi Andrew,
In digging in deeper here, I've confirmed that the information and guidance outlined in Can I export a Whole Project? is still applicable and accurate.
That said, we're always open to looking at feature enhancement suggestions, and encourage visiting our Ideation module, which is a valuable space specifically designed to facilitate conversations around the continual evolution of Jama Connect. You can use the search functionality to see if your idea has been submitted by another user(s); if it is, then you can vote and comment on the card and, if it isn't, please post a new idea card!

I also think that there should be a mechanism offered from Jama that allows us to store all sets and item fields, attachments in fields, item relationships from a Baseline or the Current Version. Test Run Results are also another area of concern. The Blog Post doesn't address those issues. To make such an Ideation module request you would need to also think hard about the mechanisms that are available to facilitate re-import of such data to Jama. So its not something that we, as customers can do easily (if at all). I don't know if Andrew feels that its something he could draft/propose but it would certainly be Jama's responsibility to put forward a formal proposal on how to move forward with this issue.

This is indeed a badly needed feature, currently a lot of stuff stays in the system to have it accessible.
If that could exported and deleted, and restored if needed, would be helpful.
