What’s New

Jama Connect Interchange version 1.0.2 includes the following enhancements:

User Administration

You can now create and manage user accounts for each user who needs access to the Jama Connect Interchange administration site. Previously, only Jama Software developers managed user accounts.

We recommend that you create a unique user account for each person at your organization who logs in to Interchange to manage integrations. User accounts in Interchange are separate from the user accounts used to log in to Jama Connect.

Excel Functions Field Support

The Excel Functions module now supports the Versions and Tags fields in Jama Connect:

Versions

Map your Excel template to the Versions field to run functions based on an item’s version history. Because the version history provides a chronology of changes made to an item, including field changes, you can use this option to monitor item updates and trigger flags or other field changes when needed.

For example, you can run a function to automatically change the Status field from Done to Needs Review if a user modifies the Release field after the item is closed.

On the Field Mapping tab, map your Excel template to one of the following fields:

  • Version History (Since last Sync) — The Excel template reads any changes made to the item since the last sync.
  • Version History (All) — The Excel template reads any changes made to the item since its initial creation.

Tags

Map your Excel template to the Tags field to run functions based on tags that were added to or removed from an item. This field is read-only, which means the Excel template can read tags added or removed in Jama Connect, but can’t make changes to the Tags field.

Jira Cloud Rich Text Integration

Rich Text integration has been refactored, allowing you to sync even more advanced formatting between Jama Connect and Jira Cloud HTML fields.
