I've come across a serious problem when viewing differences between versions of an item that is either a Test Case or a simple item (whose field contains tables).
The first version of an item with a table in a rich text field:
The second version of the item with the table modified:The incorrect differences shown when comparing items
When performing comparisons after a similar (not identical) change in a review
Another example of a test case item - this time without using a rich text field Version 1Version 2Differences shown in reviews or single item versionsJama support acknowledged the issue, it is reproducible, however they refuse to fix.We have several test case items whose differences in the test steps is completely misleading, as well as requirement items using tables (that are necessary due to the explosion of items if tables are not used). So we can't trust the item version comparison, we can't trust the Review Comparison.I just can't believe that such fundamental core Jama functionality is not being addressed. A simple pdf file showing how to reproduce this is in this link: https://ufile.io/3vcuqmju
