    When selecting Has Test Run Results field in the Embedded filter, JAMA throws an error

    How to access the server logs for troubleshooting this bug?

    Hi HA EL,
    just access the console and generate a Support bundle. I assume it is in the logs of JamaCore.
    As I see in the screenshot there is an issue in the embedded filter.
    I expect something like
    Anyway, I got the same error if setting it in an embedded filter -> going to check ... let you know ...

    com.jamasoftware.contour.api.exception.ScopeRefObjectNullException: Item with ID does not exist

    I think it is something for Jama Support ...

    Dear both,

    we are experiencing the same problem and addressed it to the Jama Hotline some time ago. We were trying to detect Test Cases that were not scheduled/run/.... They answered that it does not work because not every test case has a test run... (And those that don't have a test run, cause the error, because there is nothing to check)

    So it seems to be intrinsic.
    If you find a work around, please post it here.

    Hi,

    But why it even checks on the TC that havent been run? Their status is not relevant to this filter cause the output I need is the requirements that are linked to test cases that are linked in Test runs. The only trick i could come up to was using the traceview, but the export is an .csv file which makes it more of information than a reliable way to report such numbers. You cant even bulk edit items or update their attribute directly from the filter output list.

    Pretty weird and surprising from such a software as JAMA, even more surprising is that the forum is not full for support / bug request that are related to this functionality

    Hi HA EL,

    I am not using that filter rule, as I have a custom velocity report to check for such cases. I have additional settings that make the filter unable to return what I need.

    is it a defect? Do you have a defect ID?
    If Jama Software recognizing it as defect -> check the future release notes for the fix
    If Jama Software not recognizing it as defect -> submit feature request.
