Is renaming item types and field names Ok to do?

  • 1.  Is renaming item types and field names Ok to do?

    Hi y'all.  We are new to using JC and we are still in the development and config phase.  We are thinking about renaming out of the box OOTB item types and some field names (not the unique field names as they are grayed out).  I see the tool allows us to do it, but should we?  Could it paint us into a corner down the road?  Maybe we should just create our own items and fields if they differ from OOTB. Thoughts?
