Convert Calculated fields to text

Calculated fields are great for FMEA, but not so much for a risk analysis, where the outcome of severity and occurrence is either acceptable or unacceptable (or maybe a third stage for review by management). So it would be great if the outcome of a calculated field could either be colour coded (Red, Yellow or Green) or transformed into a text (Acceptable, Unacceptable or Review).
Our table for risk management has 20 fields, which can be calculated, but only the three options above are assigned to each field.
