Automated scheduled backup process

We are currently using an on-site deployment of Jama 8.14. As part of the maintenance of the site, it would be nice to be able to schedule a weekly backup to occur off hours. The process would involve:
1) Setting site to maintenance mode.
2) Perform backup of database/files (Creating timestamped .jama file).
3) Restore site access.
Typically in enterprise level application, this is a common capability. Jama requires operator intervention to perform these tasks to ensure the database is not being modified while it is being backed up.
