Make revisions to folders browseable

In the current version of cloud-based Jama -Jama Connect 8.47.0; but it seems also in previous ones-, you can see the number of revisions for the text/description content for a folder, but there is no way you can browse and/or compare versions.
Why is this so, and could this be updated so that comparisons for textual content in folders can be done?
I guess this is also related to the fact that when clicking on a folder, nothing appears, except if you change into document layout.
