Import of Test Steps with attached Figures

Is there a way to add images to a test step during Excel import?

I have test steps importing from Excel into Jama. I found that I can use HTML markup to format numbered and bulleted lists. That is a great feature. I am hoping to also use <a hef/> to reference attachments, however, I'm not having any luck. I have already loaded the attachments into my jama project and verified the URL is accurate through Chrome.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jeff,

There isn't currently a way to import images into Jama Connect from Excel. That said, we're always open to looking at feature enhancement suggestions, and this sounds like a good fit for our Ideation module -- you can search for, view, and vote on submitted idea cards and, if there aren't any that encompass your feedback already, you can submit an idea card of your own by clicking on the orange Add button on the right-hand side HERE. Doing so would allow our Product team to learn more your usage case, as the Ideation module is specifically designed to facilitate conversations around the continual evolution of Jama Connect. Also, users can like and/or comment on any submitted card to reflect their support of that idea. Our feedback loop is outlined here: Product Ideation Process.

I figured this out. The "<img src={url}>" does work to load an existing attachment into a test steps.
