Changing Requirements Status from Draft to Under Review
Hi,
I would like to automatically change the status of requirements from Draft to Under Review after I automatically start the review process via Jama Review Center.
Configuring item's workflow gives me the following option: "Enable a workflow transition to be triggered by a Finalized Approval review."
But, it doesn't give me the option of transitioning to under review after kicking-off review center process which is what I am trying to do.
I need help with that. Thanks,

There is no way to auto-transition the status of the items in the review when you start the review ... but you can just apply a "batch transition" operation to that set of items.
------------------------------
But I would suggest a different approach. In particular, I usually recommend that you do your review based on a filter, which selects the items that are in the "Under Review" status. That way you can easily adjust which items are included in each new revision of the review, by setting the workflow status of the items appropriately.
So the workflow status determines what is being reviewed, rather than the review determining the workflow status.

Using a filter to perform a review has a drawback if you want to produce documents from the review baseline: any structure that may be present (via components/folders) in the project structure will not be part of the generated document, since the filter does not include such items.

How to do apply "batch transition"? That I was trying to find out because I don't want to go through item by item to change status.

During the review, you can of course see the document structure via the View-In-Tree operation.
------------------------------
I personally encourage minimizing the use of "dead" documents for an active review (since one cannot comment/approve items in that document). Once a review had been completed, and the results of the review are then reflected in the state of the items, then a document can be produced for archiving or sharing, but that document would be based on the appropriate Jama set/component, and not on the review.

Indeed, one should strive to minimize "dead" documents. Your approach however has a problem: who guarantees that the items haven't changed after the review? No-one. There can't be guarantees unless you are the sole user of the system. So the document you will produce from a context view will not necessarily be the same as that of the review baseline.
-------------------------------------------
Even if you lock items after the review you run into the danger of having your item versions changed just before you do that. And for regulatory purposes it can be a nightmare to explain that the reviewed content was different than the document content.

First, note that just because my preference is to do it a certain way doesn't mean that is the right way for your situation. With that in mind, there is no approach that guarantees items haven't changed after a review, because anyone with sufficient privileges can go in and change any item. The only thing you can guarantee (with any approach) is that you can identify what items have changed, by comparing whatever configuration of items you currently have with the baseline that is automatically created by Jama for each review revision (Jama's baseline compare report makes that easy). You can always ensure that only a specific group of people of your choice can change items after a review, by only allowing that group to modify an item after it is approved (i.e., transitioned to an approved workflow status) by the moderator of the review.
