How to delete Test Run items?
In certain situations we'd like to delete single Test Run items, but we are very confused about what access rights are needed to do it. We have users with "Project Administration" rights, who can delete in some projects, but not other projects, where they are also Project Administrator!?
Can anyone clarify the situation?

Hi Kasper,

It sounds like a permissions-based issue, though it's hard to say for sure without more information (such as the version of Jama Connect you're using, the users' specific permissions, the settings for each project, etc).
The User Guide article on deleting items may be helpful here. If you have additional questions after reviewing it, I'd recommend filing a ticket with our Support team to dig in deeper -- this would allow us to support you further while preventing potentially sensitive information from being shared more widely.

Hi Kasper and Carly,
We have bumped in just this similar kind of issue. End user will get error "Unexpected error" "You don't have permission to perform this action". But I as administrator can delete test runs from the given test cycle.
User has created the original test case, test plan and test cycle so he has access to all the source items in project.
Splitting the test test plan in numerous test groups is not an answer for selecting individual test cases from the plan to cycle.
Any guidance?

Hi Anja,
It looks like your organization is already working with our Support team on this; they're in the best position to dig in deeper here and I'm glad they're partnering with your group.

Jama technical support confirmed that deletion of test run in test cycle is enabled only for Organization administrators and Project administrators in their own projects.
In case we need this kind of possibility to delete test cases, which are not yet run in test cycle, for all project members having the creator RW access, we need to create new Ideation request for Jama.

Is this only in local instances? It does not appear that Cloud installations can do this at all
