Creating a Custom Connector in PowerAutomate for Jama Connect: Seeking Insights

Hello Jama Community,

In an ideal world, I envision a scenario where I can automate some of the more mundane and repetitive tasks in Jama Connect like project creation, adding users, and adjustments of access rights, using Microsoft PowerAutomate. The aim is to free up more time to focus on pressing matters that require my undivided attention.

However, I've noticed that currently, there isn't an official connector available in PowerAutomate for Jama. This led me to consider creating a custom connector, which in my estimation, might not be too overwhelming a task. To accomplish this, PowerAutomate requires input in the form of an OpenAPI file (JSON), a specific URL, a GitHub project, or a Postman collection.

This brings me to my question: Has anyone in this community successfully extracted an OpenAPI file from https://[...]jamacloud.com/rest/v1/api-docs or any other source? Or perhaps, is there an alternate, more efficient method to realize this objective?

I would truly appreciate any guidance or insights on this matter, as I am sure your collective wisdom and experience would help greatly.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Your suggestions will go a long way in making my daydream a reality!

Hi Olaf, I just came across your post.

You can extract the swagger json file by opening your browser inspection tools, open the network tab, and refresh the Jama swagger page. From the list, you can then save the api-docs file:
