Test Case Status
When I add a test case to a test plan and to a cycle, the Test Case Status field changes to "Scheduled". When I delete this cycle and remove the test case from the test plan (from the group), the Test Case Status field remains "Scheduled". I expected that it would change back to "Not scheduled". Is there a way to refresh the status? Archiving and unarchiving the test plan did not help.

You are correct that if there are no Test Runs for a given Test Case, the Test Case Status for the Test Case should be "Not Scheduled". Just to double check, click on the Test Runs widget for the Test Case, and confirm that there are no other Test Runs for that Test Case. If there are none, then please submit a ticket to Jama Customer Support, so they can find out why you are seeing this behavior.

we observe the same behavior in 8.74.1 On Premise and 9.1.0 Cloud: It isn't possible to change the Test Case Status for a Test Case back to "Not Scheduled", if there was once an associated Test Run being generated. Deleting Test Cycles and Test Runs, archiving und unarchiving test plans also don't help us.

Hi Lien,
Just to confirm, when you go to the Test Runs widget for affected Test Case(s) when that behaviour persists, does it show any associated Test Runs?

Hi Carly,
when I go to the Test Runs widget for affected Test Case(s) when that behaviour persists,no associated Test Run was shown.
I could reproduce this behavior also in Release 9.2.0

Thanks for confirming that, Lien! In that case, I'd second Geoffrey's recommendation to file a Support ticket so we can dig in deeper with you there (please include a link to this thread in the ticket request).

Archive all of your testplans, then the status should be "Not scheduled", then unarchive the test plans that you really need, if not in an active test cycle it should stay "Not scheduled".
