Behaviour of "Switch Direction" in Visual Layout of relationships

Dear community,

I have observed an interesting behaviour of the "Switch Direction" function in the Visual Layout of Related Items (Jama 9.0.3).

In a project with defined relationship rules: When trying to "Edit" the relationship, Jama states that"Upstream/downstream relationship options have been set by your administrator." and refuses to change it (I would expect this).

But "Switch Direction" will simply change the relationship from Downstream to Upstream (or vice versa), resulting in a relationship which is in conflict with the defined rule set.

Is this behaviour known / desired?
