Personal Access Token Authentication (Jira Data Center Only)

As an additional authentication method, you can now connect to your Jira Data Center instance using Personal Access Tokens. This authentication option is available in the Add Connector window (basic authentication is still available as well).

Technology Upgrade

In this release, the Interchange application is upgraded to Java version 11. The upgrade of this core technology supports our continuous improvement objectives around application usability, performance, and security.   

 

Minor Enhancements to Jira Data Center

  • HTML Sync Enhancements
    • This release includes updates to HTML syncing between Jama Connect and Jira Data Center, providing a more seamless sync of HTML/Rich Text fields (such as the Description fields) between the two systems.

  • Relationship Sync Enhancements
    • This release includes updates to relationship syncing between Jama Connect and Jira Data Center, including both Epic/parent links and sibling links.


Coming Soon

  • In the upcoming Jama Connect 9.4 release, access to the REST API will be restricted to users with creator licenses.
    • To prepare for this change and avoid any interruptions to integration sync activity, ensure that the user account assigned to your Jama Connect connector in Interchange has either a Creator or a Creator (Float) type license.

Resolved Issues

CON-34212 Status field syncing is now restored for Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center integrations. This capability was temporarily disabled in the 1.6.1 patch release (Jira integrations only).

 In certain isolated scenarios, having one or two links in an error state might cause an entire integration to stop running. We resolved this issue with additional error handling to allow the integration as a whole to continue running even if certain links are in error (Jira integrations only).
