Jama "Shadow Server" which replicates a Production Environment

Dear Jama Team,

As some of you may already know, the amount of load on our Production Server is growing exponentially because of automation scripts and other tools consistently in the background. This in-turn impacts the performance for the regular UI users as well as the overall performance of Jama.

We discussed this idea with Geoff from Jama i.e. setting up a shadow/mirrored server which could be updated on a pre-determined cadence (could be 6 hours or 12 hours or more with a max window of 24 hours). We could then leverage this shadow/mirrored server for all out automation needs thereby freeing up resources which will improve the overall performance of our Production Server.

Kindly let us know your thoughts on this. In fact this is an extremely high priority/critical priority issue for us as we are constantly running into performance issues for the last couple of years and this seems to be the most efficient way of improving the overall performance of our production server.

Thanks,

Devang

    Devang,
Would you care to elaborate: which server of the two would you make available in your scenario for user-access?
