Export to Word Default template cuts off tables and images

Hi.

Currently export requirements using Export to Word Default template cuts off tables and images.

Is there a way to update Export to Word Default template to scale the tables and images?

    Hello

    Our solution is that we have defined rules for the maximum size of tables and images:

    • for tables we have defined "Editor templates" where we set the table property "maximum width" to a maximum of 650pixels. Or when we insert tables without a template, the maximum size must be limited to this 650pixels.
    • For images, you can configure in the Admin section a "Rich text image max width (px)" (we have also defined there 650 pixels). So when then a user insert a larger image, it is automatically resized to 650 pixels.


    As an alternative, I found some time ago following velocity report where the tables and images are scaled (with many other features):

    jama_work_product_word_template_master.7z

    There is some introduction in the beginning of the report how to use it.

    Thank you @Iwan Kutter for the information and the velocity report.

    I looked at the item types we are having the problem. The tables and figures that are being chopped off are in the Text Fields which is set to be Rich Text. We were not using any specific Editor templates for these item types.

    I am reading the Jama Connect User Guide on Using the rich text editor. It will take sometime before I understand what I need to do.

    I will let you know the progress I am making.
