    Hello Herald,

We have intentionally transitioned product start guides and support documentation to the knowledge base, offering a more streamlined and user-friendly approach to accessing essential information, ultimately improving the overall customer experience. Using the Federated Search, you can use the search feature in the community to search across both the community and the knowledge base for public-facing resources.

    @Amanda Jennewein

"ultimately improving the overall customer experience" - If all those hyperlinks are broken and I now have to use the search, this is worsening my experience rather than improving.

    For example: In this post

on my comment from october 2022, I am referring to a another post I made:

    https://community.jamasoftware.com/discussion/workaround-filter-on-locationrelease-in-embedded-filters-and-have-multi-level-embedded-filters#bm55fb5bec-1c60-4f31-9ee2-a5d5d7248360

This link is not working and when searching for the actual name you see in the link, I am getting 33 results, but none of that is the referenced post. So, it is not even just an inconvenience - I am not able to find referenced content.

    Hello Jan,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Not all content types were migrated to this new platform in March 29024. The link referred to is a content type that does not appear to have migrated. https://community.jamasoftware.com/discussion/workaround-filter-on-locationrelease-in-embedded-filters-and-have-multi-level-embedded-filters#bm55fb5bec-1c60-4f31-9ee2-a5d5d7248360

@Amanda Jennewein Thank you for your reply. Do you have any plans of migrating that content? There was a significant amount of useful messages in those links.

Moreover, I am missing private messages from forum members. I can see a number of message exchanges but all the content is empty. Is that data lost too?

We will not transfer any additional content from the previous platform, either because it's not a transferable content type or the content itself is outdated.

    Hi Amanda,

the content I am referring to is definetly not outdated. Also, I noticed that in the ideation center most of the links to other ideas I tried are also broken.

I find it frustrating that Jama is under the impression that the new community forum is "ultimately improving the overall customer experience" when old content is sometimes only accessible with additional search steps (vs. clicking a link) or sometimes not accessible at all because I don't know what to search for or it is "not a transferable content type" and therefore wasn't migrated in the first place.

    Hello Jan,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that the transition to the new community forum has presented some challenges, and we're committed to addressing them to improve your experience.

The decision to migrate to this new platform was driven by our goal to provide a more robust and user-friendly environment. However, we recognize that the process hasn't been seamless for everyone, especially regarding access to older content.

Hi @Amanda Jennewein, please make a survey to gather feedback from the users for the new site. I am sure it will point to areas where it should be improved.
    Warm regards
    Dimitrios
