How to handle small design changes

Hi Jama community,

I am trying to figure out the best way to handle design changes. The obvious solution seems to be creating a Project in Jama for each Design Change, duplicating items from the previous, closed and frozen project. However, a question stands out:

What is the most efficient way to handle "small Design Changes"? Should we always create duplicates of the previous project, or is a more efficient way available in Jama? Imagine that we need to open a Design Change only to update 1 Specs Document and 1 Test Report. Would you still create a duplicate of the previous project to document that change?
