How do you maintain consistency between diagrams in Jama?

Is there a good way to maintain consistency between diagrams in Jama? So far I only found the link below which is basically telling you to copy and paste the image, add a link, then in the future, you open the link, edit, and again copy and paste. I wanted to do this with draw.io so I can enable layers on one drawing, and have them hidden on another. However, the rich text diagram editor of Jama just gives you drawing capabilities, but not an option of storing a file for editing later.

I originally started off with Enterprise Architect and realized that in Jama, you cannot do anything with this tool without some additional add-on. That brought me to a diagramming tool like Draw.io but even there, I am really not sure Jama is up to task.
