It is important to keep in mind that you are not necessarily collecting existing process materials to simply recreate the existing process in Jama Connect®. This deployment will bring a number of efficiencies to your existing process while allowing you to improve and/or introduce processes.
That said, it is still essential to collect existing materials to:
- Establish which content shall be captured in Jama Connect®.
 - Determine the scope of the process that Jama Connect® will support.
 - Identify any documents generated today that will be necessary as exports from Jama Connect®.

Below are examples of process-related materials. Work with the subject matter experts (SMEs) in your organization to locate materials.
- Process map of Requirements definition, review, approval
 - Process map of Verification definition, review approval
 - Risk Management procedures and templates
 - Map of existing tools and integrations
 - Procedure document of Product Development Process (PDP)
 - Document Management approval (for roles and responsibilities)
 - Business Org Chart for identifying key stakeholders/functional groups
 - Project-specific examples including Requirements documents, Verification Plans, Protocols, Reports, Risk Management Plans and Report
 - Traces files (e.g., Trace Matrix)
