Improve Processes
Objectives:
Ideally, we should be informed through benchmarking, identify key areas for process improvement, and increase the optimized use of Jama Connect® to support the process.
Actions:
- Evaluate metrics, process, and user feedback to identify opportunities to support the process with Jama Connect® further and to determine areas for process improvement.
- Use guidance from the READY, SET, and GO phases to evaluate opportunities, plan, align Jama Connect®, and deploy changes to users.
- Return to Benchmarking after deploying process improvements.

Extend Jama Connect
Objectives:
You can increase support and alignment of Jama Connect® with your process through extensions and integrations.
Actions:
- Identify and review with your team the necessary outputs from Jama Connect® and determine reporting opportunities. Create mock-ups of these reports to determine the data requirements and formatting of the reports.
- Assess the Product Development ecosystem within your organization to determine opportunities for connecting systems through integration.
- Work with your team to identify manual, repeated tasks that could be eliminated or made efficient through automation.
