Document and obtain agreement with your Core Team on the following:
- Current Challenges and Negative Consequences
- Future State (Goals) and Positive Business Outcomes
- Key Capabilities for Unlocking Positive Business Outcomes
- Metrics for measuring Goal achievement or progress
These Goals will guide the scope and priorities of your deployment. Well-defined and agreed-upon Goals will generate buy-in from those affected by the change. Refer to these Goals when communicating, training, and implementing the change and solution.
While existing processes and tools may limit metric gathering, identify desired metrics and create a plan to collect them regularly.
